Hi All,

I'm planning on buying the 2020 Apple MacBook Pro 13" Touch Bar, Intel Core i5, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD.

I want to get the LOGITECH MK545 Wireless Keyboard & Mouse Set.

However, I see it has a USB dongle, and it looks like the 2020 Macbook Pro doesn't support that, only USB-C cables.

Is that right? If so: does that mean the 545 won't work for me?

Thank you,

David

You will need some kind of adapter for the USB dongle/key. Functionally, it will work find... but aesthetically, it could be U.G.L.Y. - it will cause the USB dongle/key to stick out and not fit flush against the port...

If you're running with a usb hub always connected, you can put the Logitech dongle on there.

If you don't want a usb hub or the Logitech dongle always connected, you should look at a Bluetooth keyboard and Bluetooth mouse.

Some keys are in different positions, so you'll have to adjust your muscle memory each time you move between the built in and Logitech keyboards. If that matters to you, consider getting a keyboard designed for Macs.
