Hi there, I need urgent advice if my MacBook Pro will automatically switch off if it gets overheated? I turned my laptop off without noticing it did not shut down properly, somehow the keyboard light was left on but the screen was off when I left the house. I'm now away from my laptop for a week and I'm horribly worried that the laptop will crash or get burnt being left on this mode. Will it automatically go to sleep mode or will it shut down by itself if overheated? Thanks for your comments in advance!

Well, if it overheats it will definitely shut off.
Reading an old topic, GGJstudios stated that the Intel Core 2 Duo will NOT allow the machine to overheat.
