Will MacPro get Skylake chipsets?

I know there has been some speculation on this - was wondering if anyone heard any update. Or is Apple just going with proprietary chips? Trying to decide on the timing of replacing my current laptop.

Xeons run a year behind, so we're talking about Broadwell being the next step right now for the Mac Pro. Skylake would be next year.

A Broadwell update could be in the next 6 months.
