Hi there,

i have a very stupid question here.

i have a site, let's call it mysite.com
i have emails, let's call it my@mysite.com
they're hosted under a shared host and i'm using the mail server mail.theothersite.com

i have the mail setup at MAIL on my macbook, as well as gmail (using IMAP for both)

So now I wanna change my host, and after I change my DNS, the stupid question came. Now I got the mail server mail.mysite.com

will all the mails still be in my MAIL and my gmail after I go and change the setting and passwords or they just gone.
to back up the mails on my MAIL i just need to go "archive mailbox"?

i know this sounds silly but i need help with this...

thanks
