I'm running a MacPro 1,1 and the El Capitan Beta (going to do an upgrade tonight once this USB stick is ready), and so far I only found 2 code samples that demonstrate how to use Metal on OS X. After running them both in Xcode, neither of them worked, and I'm not sure if it's because my GPU doesn't have full support for it or not. I have an NVIDIA GeForce 760 GTX, and it's always been faithful so far. Since I plan to port my game from OpenGL ES to Metal for iOS and OS X platforms that support it, I need to find out whether it's my GPU or something else that's preventing it from working.

Thanks,

Shogun.

EDIT: Nevermind. After the update to El Capitan final and the update to XCode 7.0.1, Apple's example on Metal for OS X worked right out of the box.
