I am interested in prolonging the life in my trusty Macbook Pro (MBP) 2.16 from March 2006 (now running 10.6) by upgrading its hard drive. I was going to go with the Seagate Momentus XT 500 GB hybrid drive (ST95005620AS) but I'm deeply concerned about all the issues customers have been having (particularly mac users). I am posting this to address mac users out there who specifically tried using this drive on the macbook pro 2.16 from 2006 (if there are any out there).
