I have searched the internet to find an answer to this as I would like to put my G4 Quicksilver into a different case. All I seem to find when searching for it is putting and ATX PC motherboard into a Quicksilver case and not the other way around. Does anyone know if the hole locations are standard ATX or will I have to create my own stand off is I choose to go further than this? Any help or advice is appreciated.

You'll have to create your own standoffs as it's not standard.

But that's not really your biggest worry - unless you are also going to be transferring the power supply as well. G4 PowerMacs (all models) do NOT use ATX PSUs. So, if perhaps you were thinking of moving it over and just plugging it in to an ATX PSU, that isn't going to work. You need an adapter cable for an ATX PSU and the adapter cables are all different based on G4 model. With the Quicksilver, part of that is accounting for the additional power draw because the LB was designed to provide power from the PSU to connected ADC displays (Studio and Cinema Displays, the acrylic ones).

There used to be a vendor that custom made the adapter cables for ATX PSUs but has not been doing it for a while. However, instructions on how to make your own can be found here: http://atxg4.com

You might also be able to find some on eBay.

Oh, if you are transferring the QS PSU - it's not standard ATX size and mounting.
