Hey guys,

What do you think, will transferring music to the watch finally be faster with the latest Bluetooth on board?

This has been one of my biggest annoyances on the S2.

Also, any word on storage space on the new watch compared to my old one?
I forgot it the S3 already offered more, or if it’s still the same?

Guessing only if you have Bluetooth 5 on your phone too?

There are antennas on both sides of the watch now too; the entire back is ceramic. So this should help as well as the BT 5.

16GB on S3 LTE and all S4 models... GPS or LTE. 8 GB on GPS S3.

The iPhone X has it, no?

Great, thanks for clarifying about storage! Really hope it’ll be faster..

People say to make sure you're connected to a wifi network and then turn off bluetooth before patching or uploading stuff, forcing the watch to fall back on the faster wifi connection. This is unfortunate, as at no time should the slower, less reliable method of communication be the default (or arguably used at all) when doing bulk transfers... It's hard to say if it would even save all that much power, since the transfers take so much longer to complete and may involve a lot of resends if there's many lost packets (like, due to competing 2.4GHz networks), and the power angle is completely irrelevant anyhow if the watch is attached to its charger...
