Will my 12" Powerbook G4 drive an NEC 2690?

Since I can't afford a mac pro and monitor right now, I am hoping to get the monitor first and use my powerbook G4, 1.5GHz, until that lucky day when I can get a refurbed mac pro. The monitor I am leaning toward is the NEC LCD 2690 WUXi-BK-SV. My only purpose is intensive photo editing and printing. I know that the powerbook I have will support the 20" and the 23" Apple Cinema Displays, but not the 30", but I don't know if it will support the 26" NEC. Thanks.

Your computer should support that monitor. It's not necessarily the size of the monitor, but the resolution of the monitor that the computer will support. Your computer should do fine because the resolution of that monitor is 1920x1200, which is the same as the Apple 23" display.
