will my 13'' uni-alum MB connect correctly with 24'' cinema display?

does that 3-in-1 chord provided with the 24'' display work with my MB?

It was introduced around the same time as the UniBody MacBooks and was pretty much designed for them*

ah i c. well one of the ports on the side of my MB is the Mini DisplayPort. does that 3-in-1 have a plug for that?

The 3-in-one comprises of one of each of the following connectors:

Magsafe - to Power/Charge your MB.

USB - runs the built-in USB hub. Also, I think it carries the Audio and iSight signals.

Mini DisplayPort - Connects to compatible Apple gear to drive the display.

So the 24" Apple Cinema Display is only compatible with Apple Products including but not limited to your UniBody MacBook.
