So Im running out of space on my iPod Touch. I'de rather not delete songs from my library, so I figured I would turn on the "Only sync checked songs" option, and just check my whole library, and start unchecking songs that I don't want on the iPod. I just have one question before I start this process.

If for some reason I have to restore my iTunes Library from a Time Machine backup int the future, will it remember which songs I had checked/not checked? I assume it will, but just want to make sure before I start weeding through a few thousand tracks :)

Thanks!

The changes will not survive a a restore from a backup made before you made the changes. If you want the changes to be able to stay even after you backup. Make sure you backup after you have unchecked the songs you don't want.

Well thats obvious. :) Just wanted to make sure they will survive if I have to restore them in the future. I take it they will then... Thanks!
