Hi all...

I'm wondering if my DroboS work as a Time Machine Backup for macOS Sierra as when I visit the official Drobo website it's not listed as an officially supported product on macOS Sierra... but then again... neither was it supported for El Capitan but it all worked fine.

Has anyone else upgraded to macOS Sierra with their DroboS (Firewire) and did it work... was there issues... is Time Machine working fine in macOS Sierra anyways..?

Any comments or advice would be much appreciated.

Kind regards,
Anthony

TimeMachine will work with any drive USB/FireWire/SATA/TB etc. as long as you can format it as HFS+ there is no reason why TimeMachine wouldn't work.

Thanks Daniel... so in theory my DroboS system should be fine.... thanks you for that clarification... only issue now is the multiple Time Machine issues I have been reading about from people that have updated to macOS Sierra... I best wait until the first patch at least arrives before upgrading to make sure that bug is squashed.

Thank you again Daniel.

Anthony
