I was walking home when it started to pour. I made it home, but the front of my iPod had around fifty large droplets to water on it. The entire front screen was literally covered in water. I tried to wipe if off as best as I could. It can still turn on, but in the long run, is it okay?

As long as no water got in either of the ports you should be fine, but just to be safe you might wanna power it off completely and throw it in a bag of rice for a while.

Check the headphone jack. Is the bottom red?

If it is still white its most likely fine. If its red, Apple won't repair it but it could still be fine.
