Will my liteon external dvd burner/reader work on my mac?

I just bought the liteon external ultra slim eNAU108 portable dvd writer and no where on the box does it say its compatible with mac. Is there a way to make it work on mac? Maybe some third party driver I can install?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but is there a disk in the drive?
Either way, does it show up in the system profiler?
