Will my Macbook Pro arrive for Christmas?!!

Estimated delivery is 19-24th Dec. Website says 'merge in transit when all items available'. I have gone for 4gb RAM and included a printer.

Now does the Apple online store (UK) operate over the weekend?
Are they really delivering up to Christmas Eve because I shall be leaving at lunchtime - probably sobbing knowing the delivery van is on it's way and I won't be there.
Do they contact me when the order is sent out for delivery to let me know?

Oh no - I f I don't get this before Christmas then it won't be until the new year and I will not be enjoying pulling those crackers.

You should get it on time. I ordered my MBP "same model without the printer" a few weeks ago. It showed the estimated delivery date. Then I checked the tracking number and I think china had some bad weather, so it delayed the shipment. Then all of a sudden it comes in 2 days before it's supposed to. lol.
