I have a very similar set-up (2.4 GHz and 2GB of RAM, 2008 though) and it runs Minecraft on the lowest settings at around 25 FPS, but your graphics may be better (I have GMA X3100 144 MB)
I'd suggest upping the RAM to 4GB, it's not that hard nor expensive.
I don't know about CoD, but I doubt the newest CoD would play, maybe on the lowest settings, but that's a long shot. Integrated graphics are a no-no for gaming.

I'd suggest against gaming on Macs though, but if you must, at least upgrade the RAM to 4GB.

Good luck.

Thanks
I was considering the ram upgrade but how do I know what type of ram to buy?

I believe this support page applies to your MacBook: http://support.apple.com/kb/sp584

RAM Info: "2GB (two 1GB SO-DIMMs) of 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM; two SO-DIMM slots support up to 4GB"

So buy RAM that fits the description, but make sure the support page I linked applies to your MacBook.

Good luck :)

EDIT: Use this support page to determine which model MacBook you have: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1635
Once you do that, here's a page on how to install: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1651

This is your MacBook. The GeForce 320M is a decent integrated GPU, and should be able to do Minecraft well enough. Your new MacBook can also take up to 16GB of RAM, so no worries on that front for a good, long while. Enjoy your new MacBook!

And yes, it would blow the GMA X3100 out of the water, sorry :p

What are the graphic specs for the 2010 Macbook youre looking at? what is the processor? quad core? these things do matter more than just ram.

Id advise getting the newer models. The 2012 15" macbook pros sport the NVIDIA GTX 650M, which is pretty good for gaming and the core i7 definitely is a big +.

This gentleman (or gentlelady) is correct, I didn't notice the 320M in the OP, sorry.

But the support pages I linked should help to install the RAM.

Team effort!
