Hi all-

Really sorry if this is the wrong forum section and/or if this question has already been answered (I Googled around before asking), but does anybody know if my MacBook Air can run Dota 2?

I don't care about graphics quality that much. I play StarCraft II on my MBA too, on all lowest settings, so if my MBA can handle it at all, I'm good.

These are its specs. Thanks in advance!

It's free anyway… I just wanted to be sure before I waste bandwidth downloading all 8GB of the game.

Thanks for your help!

Did not know that, as I am only a part time player and probably like the wrong games anyway.

Is 8 GB too much for you to download?

Yes I tested the HD5000 with DotA2, though i don't game anymore.

Medium settings across the board - OS X native, AA off... ran perfectly.

Though I don't know if getting an Air with the intent of gaming is the best bet.

Strangely enough the original poster already has a MacBook Air and has already played a game or two on it.

ahh okay. I fought my hesitancy to click enlarge and realized he has a 2010 model. That makes it a very strange question.

@OP just download it and try it out for yourself, especially since it is a free game. If it was a matter of spending money I could understand why one would ask for as much feedback before hand.

We have already been there, the Mac is at Apple until Wednesday.
