Will my old 8800GT from Mac pro run on an older Intel based PC?

Would I have to flash the rom of a Mac pro 8800GT to get it to work in a PC? If so, can someone point me to the rom? Also would it get flashed while inserted in the PC?

It should work fine without flashing as long as the PC has an available PCIe slot. All you need to do is grab the latest reference drivers from Nvidia's site

Googleing around it looked like there might be a bios compatibility issue on the card for PC's, but I saw nothing definite.

It shouldn't as the card is fully capable of running while booted into Windows (just look at boot camp). Personally, I've run both a Apple-branded and a flashed 8800GT in my Mac Pro using Vista and Mac OS X and my home-built PC with no issues.
