Will new ATV "Live Programming" work on only 4k models or others as well?

I am wondering if ATV non 4k will be included in Apple's recent update to include some live content? I own a 3rd Generation ATV but also thinking about purchasing 4th Generation non 4k, cannot seem to find my answer anywhere. Please someone shed some light on this subject for this Canadian TV Guru

This is just a guess.... But the ATV3 will not have it, the ATV4 will.

Another piece of advice, I would skip the ATV4 and get an ATV4k, unless you could get a really good deal with the ATV4.

I think the ATV4 is underpowered for tvOS, and my ATV4k is much slower than my ATV3. My ATV4k is probably just as fast or fast than my ATV3.
