Will new Macbooks (Airs or spec-bumped Macbooks) be released in September or October?

I have a 2011 Macbook Air on its last legs, and I'm in pretty desperate need of a replacement. I'd love to wait for the 2018 models and either get the new Air or a spec-bumped 12" Macbook, but if they are announced in October and I don't have one in my hands until November, I'm not sure I can hold out that long.

What's the general community consensus as to when folks think these will be released? And any chance the 12" Macbook spec-bump just comes quietly sometime soon? Thanks!

You know the facts just as much as we do. Speculation is that MBA and MB will be released around the same time. I expect they'll be available by Nov, but you never know.
