I did a round about way of backing up my info today on my iMac.

Simply dragged all important data to my external hdd, reinstalled Mac OS X, then copied all the important information off of the external hdd back on to the iMac hd.

Everything went off without a hitch until Safari.

Application files were all in their correct positions, but would not open.

Decided to zap Safari with AppZapper, and stupidly forgot to install a backup browser.

Got on my windows comp, downloaded Safari 3 beta, brought to make on thumb drive, and this is what occurs;

Please help?

Safari 3 is an upgrade. You'll have to reinstall Safari 2 from your Tiger DVD first (I think a tool called Pacifist helps you do this).
