Will not power from battery but ok in profiler

Macbook pro 2.16 ghz 2gb ram
Powers from ac ok and shows battery ok in profiler and charges it, but will not power from it.
Have changed batteries not to no effect and battery powers my other MBP ok.
Any ideas please HELP?

Read the end of the section on "CHARGING", on troubleshooting and resetting SMC, in the following link. This should answer most, if not all, of your battery questions:
