I hope this isn't a duplicate thread. I searched and didn't come up with anything but I can't imagine I'm the only one.

My Dual/GHz/DDR PowerMac (August production) will not wake from sleep after the Quicktime 6.1.1 update. The machine wakes but not the screen. It doesn this with either user loged in or at the login screen itself. I have to use key commands to tell the computer to shutdown (rather then doing a forced shutdown with the power key) then start the machine back up to use it if it goes to sleep.

Anyone else having this problem?

i just installed the update and rebooted just to see if it would happen to mine, but my dp 867 MDD wakes up just fine.

What type of display do you have?

BTW: that has got to be the greatest sig i have seen in a while. whos quote is that?

I have an Apple Studio Display 17 (CRT).

I don't know who's quote it is. It's just something floating around email. I've received it like 3 times now from different groups of people I know.
