First of all, sorry if this is in the wrong sub-forum, but I didn't know where else to put it:

A store near me is selling the old AppleCare boxes (the orange ones) for 9.99. Does anyone know if the code/serial number will work on new iPods (More specifically, I'm waiting till September to buy the 4th generation iPod Touch, if I buy this now, do you think it would apply?) If so, for that price it's a steal, but if they only work on legacy models it's a waste of money.

For those who live in Canada and want to take advantage of the deal The Source is selling them for $15 (you should check store stock first). The $9.99 deal was at a Pharmaprix (Shoppers Drug Mart) but no guarantees that your store will have any left. Also, buy at your own risk... I'm not responsible if these don't work on new iPods.
