Clearly reselling something that's been opened/used doesn't hold it's value.

I'm not sure how many Apple shipped or the number of Scum Bags who purchased it to profit off it but this should reduce shortages if stores open/activate your iPad.

Also, isn't there a limit on these one per customer?

People are saying that iPad 'pimps' put a bunch of 'ho's' in line and pay cash.

Apple can't force you to open the ipad. All the wifi models don't require activation, the 3g models don't require contracts, and what if you are buying it for a gift.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8F190 Safari/6533.18.5)

What's wrong with making a buck? No one really needs an iPad but many are willing to pay a premium because they can't wait a few weeks. I not saying I agree with the iPad pimps, but to say they are all scumbags is a little extreme.
