Even if it does fit, the iMac won't boot with it in. It will be too slow or incompatible.
If it was the right memory with the same pin count, and it somehow managed to work in a DDR2 slot, you will severely cripple performance. The motherboard will only use the speed that the lowest ram has. So your memory will be running at a clock speed of 333Mhz. That is painfully slow.
