Title states my question. I have some laying around, and I'm not sure if It'll work, break it, bottleneck performance, etc.
 
If it was the right memory with the same pin count, and it somehow managed to work in a DDR2 slot, you will severely cripple performance. The motherboard will only use the speed that the lowest ram has. So your memory will be running at a clock speed of 333Mhz. That is painfully slow.
