If there are significantly more pixels to push, even with a GT 650m, assuming native rez, we won't see any significant gaming performance gains. Is this correct?
While playing a game, if the resolution is exactly 1/4 of its retina counter part (ie. a retina resolution of 2560 by 1600 playing at 1280 by 800), then there should be no trouble for the GPU and the image itself will be fine because it is exactly 4 pixels in even 1 pixel of the 1280 by 800. Therefore, there should be steady and nice FPS without any image distortion
Well, at least i think thats how it should turn out
