The Nexus 7 suffered(s) from screen lift on the left side (portrait orientation). I've heard numerous explanations, including that the bezel is thinner on that side. This supposedly makes it more difficult for the glue to adhere. Is there any truth to this?

Should we expect screen lift to be an issue for the Mini? The bezel is even thinner than the Nexus 7. I haven't heard any reports of this problem yet. However, the issue wasn't apparent to many Nexus users at first until the screen lift gradually became worse over time.

Probably not. If it's just the thin bezel causing it, countless phones should've had their cover glasses lifted by now but we haven't seen such problem.

I had the issue on my iPad 3, but it was due to a faulty battery that expanded and pushed the right side of the screen and glass up from the inside.
