Will Seagate Free Agent Pro work with my MBP?

The site says only windows compatible, but I thought drives worked with any OS. Will this still work with OSX?

Yes, but for best compatibility, format it to Mac OS Extended (Journaled)

Yes, just use Disk Utility. It can't format to NTFS which is required for best Windows compatibility but you can format it to FAT32 and then in XP, format it to NTFS
