Will Sim City Run okay on my mac

Please help...

My mac is literally two months old and saw the game sim city and found the stories about how it didn't work for them. So will it work for me? I really want it.. I have no idea how to run boot camp so that's out of the question. Also do the patches do any good?

Oh I have a 24 inch imac
Everything upgraded to the best except it has a 750gb hard drive if that helps

If it's an Intel Mac you need a patch. It can be found by a quick google search. I have Sim City 4 Deluxe on a BlackBook. It runs ok. Kinda slow, but playable. The PC version runs better.

I still play Sim City 4 on my MBP and it's nearly 3 years old...

Runs fine
