Will Siri get alternative voices?

I can imagine this would be a fun feature. I want Peter Griffin to read my texts to me!
 
I hope so. Some GPS systems have accents. Like Irish English Female, etc... that would be nice to switch it up every now and again. Or, a HAL 9000 sound would be cool.
 
I was hoping this myself as i thought the voice on the Demo sounded a little robotic. I have Homer Simpson on my TomTom Sat Nav, how cool would Siri Simpson be :D D'OH!
 
I heard the male voice - sounded like a British accent.

Would be awesome, even via JB to change the voice to your liking.
 
If Siri is indeed a success, I suspect it won't be long before more voice options are available. It is a logical step, really.

If you want people to buy a phone to use it, it makes sense to give them some options to customize it to their needs. Customization fits in perfect with the "personal assistant" theme.
