will siri text just in imessage?

This may have been answered here but I can't find it. The apple site talks about Siri txting by voice using imessage specifically. But I would hope there would be a way to use it for regular texts as well right? Maybe a "default" to imessage option but a way to switch to regular texting too ? Or maybe you can tell it which type of message to send by a voice command.

IMessage does that by itself, since it's integrated with text messaging, it will automatically use whichever is appropriate. If the person doesn't gave an idevice, they'll get an SMS.
