Will smaller Pro work with larger Smart Keyboard

I'd love to use the small Pro with the larger Keyboard. I don't care about the awkward fit.
 
I'm sure it'd power it but I'm not sure it'd fit in the case and line up with the magnets properly to make it even remotely usable.
