I have a black macbook from 2007. I have not upgraded to Snow Leopard from Leopard on this mac. I've noticed lately that it is taking noticeably longer to load websites to websites, youtube clips pause to load, etc. I am not sure if this has been caused by porn. I have not clicked anything that asked me to download or asked for password, etc. Or Leopard is just dated.
If anything, if I upgrade my mac to snow leopard or just erase eveything and install snow leopard (I think there's a choice when you try to install, right?) Will it get rid of any problems (the porn) and act new?

No reason why installing SL shouldn't fix those problems.

You are a very honest individual, I have extremely high respect for you.
