If I keep the old PowerPC G5 running on Leopard, will it still 'talk' to a new G5 running Snow Leopard? What nasty bugs are on Leopard that would make me consider thinking of buying 2 new machines?

Well, I'm sure they'll include voice synthesis, it's been there since OS7 I believe and I see no reason for it's removal. I do hope they add some newer voices though, some of the old ones are so cheesy.

I would think you should be fine

Snow Leopard is not rumored to have many new features (which could cause some hiccups), only performance/stability upgrades
