Will something happen to apps if i upgrade to lion?

Cuz their currently working on snow leopard and im scared that they will be STILL on a snow leopard condition i guess so lion wont co-operate with it i guess so wut will happen?
 
You should have no problems running Apps that currently run on Intel iMacs. The problem arises with the older Power PC Apps. These won't run on Lion.
