Are these phones unlocked from factory? If I buy a T-mobile 6S Plus, can I just put in a Verizon SIM and use it without any drawbacks on Verizon?

If you already have an active Verizon Sim card you can use it. If you have a line discount on Verizon you will lose it.

Not all Tmobile iphones come unlocked.
If you bought it full price from the Apple store its unlocked and yes you can use it on Verizon.
If you got it from Tmobile its NOT unlocked.

What do you mean line discount? Like an employee discount?

Are you saying that once you activate the Verizon SIM in a T-mobile phone you lose the discount immediately?

Is this true?
So if I have a $10 credit a month on a paid off phone and get another to replace with (at the apple store) I will loose my discount?
Just trying to understand, as verizon changes policy daily now!! If so more reasons to trash Verizon.

No, he's talking about the verizon mobile share plans and the "edge" program.
But to make it short yes an unlocked Tmobile and AT&T iphone 6S will work on verizon.

It'll work. It may show up as Non-VZW Device and you may lose your month-to-month discount. If you do, I think you can call them up and bitch at them until they whitelist your device. I mean, it's literally the same phone.

You lose it and have to fight to get it put back on as the other poster said.
