I'm trying to pick the iPhone that will be easiest to read. At first, I figured it would be easier to see text on the 6+ since it has a bigger screen, but that appears to not be the case. It looks like iOS8 uses the extra real estate to put more things on the screen, rather than display the same items larger. And, looking at the first hands-on videos, it looks like the home screen icons may be larger on the 4.7" screen, with more empty space around them on the 5.5" screen.

Since the 4.7" display has 326 ppi, the same text *should* appear larger on the screen than the 5.5" display with 401 ppi. Can anyone confirm this?

Any, yes, I know I can simply increase text size in settings, but this doesn't apply system-wide.

If it doesn't it has zoom ui mode and standard mode.

Actually I shouldn't say that, I think the iPhone plus only has zoom ui mode.
