Will the 5S from Verizon be free during holiday?

I need to upgrade my current phone (HTC Droid) and can get a 5S for 99.00 through Verizon, however if they are going to be free in a week I'll hold out. What does everyone think?

If getting a $75 gift card after buying the 5S for $79 at Walmart is close enough, looks like the answer is yes.
