So I'm not sure if this has been discussed as I haven't seen anything except talk about the magsafe wallet.

I keep my phone and regular wallet in the same pocket. The case side resting against my wallet. In my wallet I keep the usual cards, DL and gaming cards used at Golfland, D&B...etc.

Will the magnet in the magsafe case have any affect to the cards inside my wallet since there is no type of "shield" like the Apple magsafe wallet?

I prefer to keep phone and wallet in same pocket and use my other pocket only for my keys.

I am wondering that as well...I often carry my phone next to my wallet in my small purse...

I did some googling but wasn’t able to find anything substantial.

The apple wallet is shielded. That’s something we know but the question is how about cards that aren’t stored in the official apple wallet.

Credit cards shouldn’t be a major problem because they usually need a very strong magnetic force to be altered (and nowadays you often use the chip anyways) but there are several other cards with magnet stripes... hotel keycards, membership cards, gift cards,....
