Considering there's nothing to plug into, aside from the diagnostic port which we have no cable for, yes.

I believe updates will show up on general section of the apple watch app, under software update (same as in iOS devices) and from there you would be able to update OTA.

I suspect if the watch is below 50% battery it'll require power before the update will commence but we shall see soon enough

Coming updates - as has already been suggested, will likely be available connecting through your iPhone. Nothing that you need to "plug in" to your Watch.
Not strictly OTA. I guess you could call it OTiP, and not a wired connection to your Watch.

Not yet I am in the 4-6 weeks shipment that is why I made this thread captain. Well I guess if you owned one you would know it has a hidden port right m8?

The port is hidden and there's no cable that they ship with it to plug into it, so there's no way they would expect the general consumer to be able to track down or buy another cable just to install a software update.

"Captain" LOL

A hidden port who's cover cannot be removed without dissecting the watch.

There is no mystery. OTA update handled through iPhone companion app. Manual is also available online.
