Looks like it would as long as it clears the fan cartridge that slides in before the processors.

I'd rather keep the heat in my ram chips than have it radiated into my room though!

Reason for wanting this?

IMO it won't fit. Front fan assembly is too close to RAM. Besides, it's only makes sense when you run overclocked memory. G5 airflow is good enough to keep regular memory cool.
