I've never done it personally, but I've heard that all you have to do is show your badge and they do. It's best to call unless someone else here can confirm.

Yes, I've made several purchases in store on items that qualified for EPP. Just had to present my work badge.

Just called Apple about this a couple days ago, and yes, all you have to do is show some sort of proof of your employment (Work ID, pay stub, etc) and you are good to go.

That's the reason I don't buy Apple gear in Best Buy or Microcenter. Those stores don't honor epp pricing but Apple Stores do.
