I don't know all the LTE bands that Vodafone uses, but it appears that the Vodafone model is different. The Sprint version is the same. Of course non LTE will work fine, but Vodafone must be using at least some of the bands that aren't supported on the tmobile version.

LTE wouldnt be too much of a big deal, I could settle for 3G as im only there for example. Main concern is will it work on the regular cellular network to make calls, messages etc.

Regular calls and non-LTE data will work fine. I don't know what "bands" Vodafone uses, but you might even get to use some of their LTE. There will just be some places presumably where there are LTE networks that you cannot use.
