Will the green tint in photos be fixed in 4.1 or 4.2?

When you take a pic under fluorescent lighting, you get a greenish blob in the middle of the picture. Has anyone heard if apple will fix this issue in 4.1 or 4.2?

Never even noticed this, sure its not just the way your holding the phone in the lighting??? I take tonsof photos in the same light, never seen any "blob"

I kinda doubt it - 4.1 is out now and it's not fixed. It's from CFL (fluorescent) lighting. I'm not even sure a software change can fix this. It might be a hardware issue...

I have noticed it too. I think it may be the lens in the back. I looked at it under a bright light and notice a slight green tint.

I have this problem, too. Pretty sure it's a hardware problem if it only happens under fluorescent lights.

Theoretically, it could be fixed to a degree by magnifying the red and blue channels in the affected area, but it's still going to have a lower colour resolution than a perfect camera. You could get a properly coloured image, but you might see stepping between difference shades of red or blue.
