Will the Invisible shield sides help signal loss from aluminum bumper?

On my 4s I have an apex armor gen 3, ive noticed many times my reception is less than my brother who doesn't have an aluminum case. I was wondering if i buy the invisibleshield that goes around the steel band antenna on my iphone will it help the signal by preventing my aluminum bumper come in contact with the iphone antenna?

It Won't Help

With your signal. I uses snap on clear case on my 4s and that seems to have no effect. On the signal.

Those bumpers look good, but they will have an adverse effect on your reception.

why wouldn't it work? it's preventing the antenna from coming into contact with the metal from the case.
