Will the iPhone 5 be available factory unlocked by Apple at the launch day?

In the US? Not likely. It was delayed about a month last time.

Yes, unlocked direct from Apple on day one in the UK, and as far as I know most other EU countries as well.

If it's available factory unlocked on day one. Honestly I'll probably get it. Otherwise no.
