I hoping to get my first iphone when the new ones come out and was wondering if at&t is going to brand the phone meaning painting their logo all over the phone and putting their bloat ware on it and also put restrictions on it. If thats the case i'm buying right from apple store.

The first generation iPhone was not like this, why would you think the second gen would? Apple won't allow any branding on the physical device itself except for it's own. The only place you'll see any carrier "branding" is in the status bar on the top of the screen.

I'm sure its in the original contract that AT&T developers and tech are not to go anywhere near the iphone. I'm sure they havent even seen it.

Of course Jobsey would not allow third party software on his precious phone! That's sacrilegious to the man!
Even though many developers including Microsoft and EA, are working to get there software on the iPhone. Ever heard of the SDK?

Or were you being sarcastic?

I love the fact there is no AT&T branding on the iPhone. Makes it look much cleaner and you don't have any reference to AT&T except for the signal bar.
