I'm heading up to Toronto for a weekend - my first international trip with the iPhone. Will it work normally?

Oh, it'll work just be prepared for a massive bill if you don't have either an international package added to your account or turn your data roaming off. International Roaming in Canada costs 79 cents a minute. Data will accrue at $.0195/KB and text messages are $0.50 each. This kid discovered it the hard way with a $700 bill:

Here's the AT&T International page:

From their Canada-specific information page:

An international feature is not required to enable roaming in Canada, however international roaming rates apply. Additionally, to avoid incremental toll charges while in Canada, you should have an international roaming feature activated on your account.
