Yep, the new nano came out just after the BTS program started last year and Apple's website clearly stated that the BTS offer did not apply to the new nano.

In the past specific ipod model numbers were listed in the rebate fine print but this year that is not the case. So either they aren't updating before the promo ends so there is no need to specify model numbers, or they are updating and they want to seel as many as they can no matter what they are.
